Does this sound familiar: you wake up a minimum of an hour early for class just to get dressed, do your hair and makeup? If so, you’re like me, so join the club; us ladies are working overtime to look good just to go to class on campus. Our feet hurt, we’re uncomfortable but we refuse to change our style. I know I’m not about to. This is my list of how you know you’re what I like to call a UWM fashion goddess.
- When you take longer picking out an outfit for your 9 a.m. class than you did the whole semester studying.
- The required science book cost $150, but a pair of jeans only cost $65. You choose the jeans because in reality you’re saving money.
- Midterms roll around and your friends have yet to see you in the same outfit twice.
- You come to an exam late because you absolutely had “nothing to wear”.
- Walking across campus in 15 minutes in four inch Stilettos, carrying a purse, book bag and trying to talk on your cell is a regular and overall easy task for you.
